Description
In the fast-paced realm of the internet, every element of your website holds significance, right down to the minutest particulars such as image attributes. Making certain that your images possess suitable titles, captions, descriptions, and alt text can significantly elevate both your website’s overall user experience and its SEO performance. However, manually affixing these attributes to each image can prove to be a time-consuming and wearisome undertaking.
Introducing the automatic image attribute plugin – a convenient tool designed to shoulder the heavy lifting on your behalf. In this blog post, we will delve into how this plugin has the potential to transform your website and conserve your valuable time.
The pro add-on takes image attributes a step further by not only sourcing them from the image filename but also from the titles of your posts, pages, products, or custom post types. You have the flexibility to fine-tune the settings for bulk attribute updates and even tidy up the actual image filenames.
The process of downloading and integrating this plugin with your WordPress setup, particularly if you’re utilizing WooCommerce, is a straightforward task. It streamlines your workflow, saves you time, and guarantees that your website’s images are not just aesthetically pleasing but also exceedingly functional.
In the grand scheme of web design and user experience, it’s often the small details that yield the most significant impact. With the automatic image attribute plugin, you can achieve a visually captivating and SEO-friendly website without the inconvenience of manual updates. It’s a win-win situation for both you and your site visitors.
The Pro Add-On provides these additional features:
- Utilize the post title as title text. If the image is not linked to a post, the image filename will be used.
- Utilize the post title as alt text. If the image is not linked to a post, the image filename will be used.
- Utilize the post title as a caption. If the image is not linked to a post, the image filename will be used.
- Utilize the post title as a description. If the image is not linked to a post, the image filename will be used.
- Create custom attributes using tags such as %filename%, %posttitle%, %sitetitle%, %category%, %tag%, %yoastfocuskw%, %yoastseotitle%, %rankmathfocuskw%, %seopresstargetkw%, and more. Each custom tag will be replaced with its value, and you can combine them as desired.
- Use Yoast Focus Keyword and Rank Math Focus Keyword as image attributes.
- Clear any image attribute by setting it as blank or empty.
- Exclude images from the Bulk Updater. A meta box and a checkbox are added to the Media Library’s Edit Media sidebar. When checked, the bulk updater will not modify the attributes of that image in the media library or in posts/products where the image is used.
- Remove special characters from the filename, such as apostrophe (‘), tilde (~), plus (+), pound (#), ampersand (&), round brackets (( )), square brackets ([ ]), and curly brackets ({ }).
- Filter words or characters from the filename.
- Filter the filename with regular expressions.
- Convert image attributes to lowercase or UPPERCASE.
- Use title casing for image attributes, capitalizing the first letter of each word.
- Use sentence casing for image attributes, capitalizing the first letter of a sentence.
- Clean the actual image filename after uploading.
- Choose to disable any of the above-mentioned features.
